Transforming Healthcare - Insights from HIMSS Europe 2025

Welcome to a special series of Narratives of Purpose.If you follow us on social media and read our newsletter, you already know that our podcast was a media partner of the Hymns Europe 2025 conference in Paris back in June.Today I am announcing the launch of our HIMS special series of with the interviews we recorded at the event, an event that is considered to be Europe's number one digital health conference.

Technology really has to step in in the health space because if we require things to be treated the way they are being by the specialists, it's not going to happen. There is not enough specialists in almost every area or there is not enough capacity for the devices that are being used.So we have to allow the technology to step in here because otherwise there will be serious issues.

I interviewed tech leaders and startup founders, women's health pioneers and innovators who were all speakers at the HIMSS, the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society 2025 European Conference and Exhibition.

If I could make people sitting in the room feel that femtech and women's health is relevant to them no matter what gender they are, that would be such a big win because women's health really does impact everybody. It is a societal thing and if we could start thinking about women's health as societal infrastructure, I think that would help the conversation.

In this new series you will experience stories that inspire and drive healthcare innovation. You will listen to compelling narratives that reveal the passion behind breakthrough ideas and the human stories that shape the health tech industry.

We want to also contribute in creating unique data that train AI models and we believe that in order to create artificial intelligence that is less biased, we have to document and tell women's stories and we have to improve how healthcare practices are now where we already know that there's a lot of bias and we don't want that to repeat again. Also in the new technologies that we create.
