Dr. Vanessa Craig

Formettā was founded by Dr. Vanessa Craig, an award-winning biomedical researcher, born in Sydney and based in Switzerland. Driven by scientific curiosity and a personal pursuit of better health, she became fascinated by the profound effects of collagen on longevity, health, and beauty.

Dr. Craig’s journey bridges rigorous academic research and personal experience. After completing a BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics with Honours in Biochemistry at the University of Sydney, she pursued her PhD in Molecular Oncology at the University of Zurich, graduating summa cum laude and patenting two targeted cancer therapies. Her research continued at the Novartis Institute of Biomedical Research, where she was awarded a fellowship to deepen her work in epigenetics.

Recognising the vital impact of nutrition and lifestyle on gene expression and healthy aging, Dr. Craig expanded her expertise with a certificate in Nutrition Science from the Stanford School of Medicine.
