Eighteen candles. One giant life shift.
In today’s live, Danna shared that their son just turned 18… and is moving out. And wow, that moment is such a weird mix of pride and heartbreak, isn’t it?
Like, you spend years doing the work: feeding them, teaching them, driving them places, worrying about everything, trying to raise a good human. And then one day you look up and they’re an adult with a key, a plan, and a whole life that doesn’t revolve around you anymore.
It’s beautiful.
It’s brutal.
It’s the point.
And it still feels unreal.
If you’re in a season of “letting go” (kids, parents, friendships, old versions of yourself), just know you’re not alone. Some transitions are bittersweet because they mean something mattered.
