Danna’s “Are We Okay Report” this week got very real.

Over the weekend, Danna had a brutal case of food poisoning that landed them in the hospital on IV fluids. And while we can laugh about almost anything (almost), this was a solid reminder that dehydration is not “just uncomfortable”, it can get dangerous fast.

If you can’t keep liquids down, your body isn’t just losing *water*. You’re losing electrolytes too, especially sodium, potassium, and magnesium, the stuff that helps your nerves, muscles, and heart do their jobs.

If you’re dealing with a stomach bug:

- Small sips, often (don’t chug)
- Add electrolytes, not just plain water
- And if you’re dizzy, weak, can’t keep anything down, or symptoms are escalating… please don’t tough it out. Get help.

We’re so glad Danna is okay. And also: can we all collectively agree to wash our hands and respect leftovers a little more?
