In today’s live, Danna brought up something that hit us right in the gut (in the best way): how powerful it is when women *actively give other women credit*.
Not the “oh yeah, we all helped” vague stuff. The real kind:
“I got that idea from her.”
“She taught me that.”
“They made that possible.”
“Go follow their work.”
“Hire them.”
Because credit is currency. And when we name each other, we’re not “taking away” from ourselves. We’re building a table big enough for everyone to eat.
So here’s your reminder (and ours): if a woman helped you, inspired you, opened a door, or made your work better, say their name out loud. In the room. In the email. In the caption.
Tag someone who deserves credit for something they’ve influenced in your life lately.
